We are officially open! This morning, the doors to Ashdon Farm Shop opened for the very first time, and we have been absolutely blown away by the incredible response.
After months of planning, building, and stocking, seeing so many lovely locals stepping across the threshold has made every late night and early start worthwhile. The village has been without its own permanent store for over seven years, and today it truly felt like a piece of the community's heart was beating again right here at Crown Hill.
It has been a wonderfully busy start to the day. The coffee machine has not stopped pouring fresh cups for the morning crowd, and it has been a joy watching everyone explore the new space. Our counters of delicate patisserie, freshly baked cakes, and artisan pies have been incredibly popular, flying out the door almost as quickly as we could serve them.
Beyond the deli treats, it was fantastic to see baskets being filled with our vibrant, seasonal fruit and veg, and visitors taking the time to browse our curated selection of beautiful gifts and cards.
To everyone who navigated the road closures, popped in to say hello, and supported us on our very first morning—thank you. Your enthusiasm and kind words mean the world to us.
