On Saturday 28th November the car park outside our front door turns into a Christmas market. The Rose & Crown Christmas Market runs from 10am to 2pm, with the stalls set up right in front of the shop at Crown Hill. It is the first one since we opened, and we are looking forward to it.
Christmas orders, direct from the shop
We are open as usual that day, from 8am to 6pm, and market day is a good moment to get Christmas organised. We will be taking Christmas orders for fruit, veg, cheeses and meats, direct from the shop. Bring your Christmas shopping list with you and we will go through it together.

A taste of last year
This year’s stallholders are still being confirmed, so here is a flavour of last year’s market: wreaths and swags, jams and preserves, pottery, sheepskins, wooden boards, cakes and bakes, a tombola and face painting.
Something warm while you browse

Getting here
You will find us at Crown Hill, Ashdon, near Saffron Walden, CB10 2HA. The stalls take over the car park for the morning, so please use nearby parking in the village and walk down. There are directions here.
